Placements & Internships : Internship: Every year some well-established companies come for internship recruitment. Similar to placements they conduct Apti test and interviews. Based on the performance they will hire for the summer internship. During your internship, if you perform well you'll be given Pre placement offer. Placements: every year NITK has good placement records. In our year Highest package given was INR 30 lakhs per annum. Average of 6-8 lakhs. Alumni: Yes, NITK has good alumni network. Each year alumnus will conduct some educational programs. 

Entrance Exams & Admissions : National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) is in coastal region of Karnataka, where only college in India to have private beach. Coming to eligibility, each individual is selected based on the JEE MAINS score. Once scores are out, need to confirm in the college about the seat and later you can wait for better department in total 3 rounds and additional spot round, if you would like to. NITK has EC, Electrical, CS, IT, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Metallurgy and Mining branches of Engineering. Mainly EC and CS will have higher cutoffs and also the best branches both in terms of teaching as well as placement is concerned. NITK is a vast campus of 300 acres, we have well maintained Hostels both for boys and girls and also cafe's here and there in the campus. Every year we will have good placement records. Along with studies you can spend enjoy time in beach and also good fish hotels in and around Mangalore. Happy Engineering.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee: Need to pay every semester. It will come around INR 25k exclusive of hostel fee at National Institute of Technology, [NIT] Surathkal. Scholarship: Each student above 7 CGPA will be awarded a merit scholarship. There are also other caste based scholarship too. Loans: it depends on each individual. There are two banks on the campus. So it will be student friendly. You can opt for if needed

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is from 8 to 5 in general. It also depends on each department. There will be 2 quizzes, mid-semester, and a final exam. Final grading will take from all these exams and also assignment. The separate grade will be awarded for Projects. Well spent engineering days. You have enough clubs to be part of and also one can participate in college fests. So overall it's good

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : For boys, we have 7-8 hostels, divided as per year. It costs around INR 25k per semester For girls it's 2-3 Hostels There won't be any PG's available but one can rent a house. Food is okay not great. Some labs are new but some it's too old.

Clubs & Associations : Clubs like IEEE, IE, NITK RACING, SAE, and many more. We have our college fest. In odd semester NITK has technical fest called Engineer and in even semester cultural fest namely Incident which is second biggest fest in south India NITK has already kind of sports but it's not supported much like other colleges.
