LLM [Master of Laws] Details

LPU LL.M is a 1-year academic course with 2 semesters. In this program, a student can get an overview of the Jurisdiction & constitution. Candidates interested in LLM in LPU should have an aggregate of 50% in LL.B and must have taken the CLAT or LUPNEST to be considered for admission. The fee for LL.M is 2.48L, but certain relaxations are given depending on the scores obtained in the LPUNEST/CLAT exam.

LPU LL.M Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria for the LL.M course at LPU.

LPU LL.M Admission

Candidates seeking admission for LL.M in LPU must meet the basic eligibility criteria and have to have taken either CLAT or LUPNEST examination. Students must fill out the application form on the university's official website. The university will do the screening process of the applications. Shortlisted candidates will get an invitation from the university for counselling and an interview for that course. 

University will prepare the merit list with 70% weightage to LPUNEST, and the rest, 30%, will be equally distributed based on work experience, publications and statement of purpose.
