M.Com [Master of Commerce] Details

LPU Master of Commerce (M.Com) is a two-year program with four semesters in total. LPU offers online and offline M.Com courses for students who have completed their bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. Admission-seeking candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination. This program offers 5% relaxation for candidates applying from the Sikkim, North-East States, Defence personnel and their dependents, and wards of Kashmir migrants.

LPU M.Com Admission

LPU M.Com admission is based on the merit of the candidate and the marks secured in the LPUNEST entrance examination. This means candidates who obtain higher merits or scores will stand a stronger chance at admission. After LPU releases the merit list, the admission department will start accepting applications from interested candidates. Before submitting the application form, Students must meet the eligibility criteria. Otherwise, the application form may get rejected.

Application Procedure

At the time of admission, it is crucial to fill out the application form in the correct format attaching all the required documents, including the LPUNEST test results. Below are the steps that applicants must follow to apply for the LPU M.Com program.

The step-by-step application process for LPU M.Com admission is as follows.

1. Register to https://admission.lpu.in
2. Use basic details such as email address, name, etc.
3. Create password.
4. Apply For LPUNEST and deposit the test fee.
5. Book a slot for LPUNEST.
6. Appear and qualify for the test.
7. Select the program from the available course list. 
8. Fill in all the required fields.
9. Pay an amount of INR 10,000. This includes an admission fee of INR 500.
10. Submit the required documents and pay the rest of the fee.

LPU M.Com Fees

LPU offers M.Com courses as a general field of study along with an online M.Com course which is part of their distance education program. The fee for candidates seeking distance education for M.Com must pay INR 96,000. Whereas for campus admissions, the fee is INR 3.20 lakh. The course fee is structured according to the marks secured in the LPUNEST exam, graduation, or the 12th final exams.
