M.Ed [Master of Education] Details

LPU M.Ed (Master of Education) is a two-year professional full-time course on two levels. It can be pursued by students who have completed their B.Ed (Bachelor of Education). Students aspiring to get into LPU to follow M.Ed must have passed the Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50%. Students with an aggregate of 50% in D.El.Ed. or ETT with an undergraduate degree or equivalent can also apply to the program. The University also gives a 5% relaxation in the aggregate score for students applying in SC, ST, or BC categories.

LPU M.Ed Eligibility Criteria

LPU offers an M.Ed course in offline mode. Students can access the course materials via the internet after admitting to the distance mode of education. 

LPU M.Ed Admission

M.Ed admission at LPU is solely based on the marks obtained by the candidate in graduation. Admission-seeking candidates need not worry about entrance scores as a 50% aggregate in the undergraduate is sufficient. However, students can appear in LPUNEST for scholarship purposes. Eligible candidates can seek admission via application online. Remember that the university can reject the applications of Ineligible candidates.

Application Procedure

Students can complete the application process for the course online. Applying for the course is an important process of admission. It is advised to keep the necessary documents available to upload in the required format. Here are the simplified steps of filling out the application form.

LPU M.Ed Fee

M.Ed fee structure at LPU varies, considering the scores of the students. The scholarship and community category would also affect the fee. The scholarships availed by the students based on the LPUNEST examination are also considered while paying the fees. With LPUNEST, students may see a 20% to 50% reduction in tuition fees. The detailed fee structure for different categories of scores based on the UG degree or LPUNEST is given in the table below. 

Other than the mentioned fees, students have to pay additional fees like services/ facilities for contingency, outreach, placement, medical, counselor, etc. as prescribed by the University.
