Rajarambapu Institute of Technology was established in the year 1983 in the state of Maharashtra. There are various scholarships provided by the college to the deserving students. The Candidates need to apply online under the Maharashtra government for scholarship/freeship. The reserved category candidates[ST,SC,VJ,DT,NT,NTA,NTB,NTC,NTD,SBC] got admitted through CAP rounds will be provided with 100% scholarships for tuition and exams fees. The OBC candidates will receive 50% of scholarships for tuition and exam fees.

RIT Activities:

The college has Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education. The institute has been selected under DST – NIMAT Project 2012 – 13 For conducting Programmes in entrepreneurship development. Grants Rs. 1,45,000/- sanctioned. The college has organized Entrepreneurship Development Program for 3 weeks in summer vacation as finishing school for 15 students who opted for their career as entrepreneurs. There are QEEE Smart Classes conducted for students to enhance their practical skills.

Candidates can apply for admission online. Students are shortlisted based on the marks obtained/ secured in the qualifying examination. The following are the eligibility criteria for the courses offered at RIT.

There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The college commits parental care to boys and girl students residing in the hostel. The male hostel can accommodate 659 members and the female hostel can accommodate 477 members. The Ladies hostel offers some special facilities like cooking gas and electric geezers. There are 6 mess blocks present for the food facility in the hostel. The RIT facilities include an uninterrupted power supply, 24 Hours 330 Mbps Internet access, a dispensary with free medical treatment, 24 hours canteen facilities during the examination, and many more.
