LIBRARY:
Library is the heart of the institution. It is a unique Knowledge Centre, which offers essential and specialized information resources and services to meet the information needs of the users. The Central Library of RIT has been playing a vital role in overall development of the college since its inception. The library is enriched with variety of books, well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, e-books, periodicals, e-journals, newspapers, CD-ROMs etc.
To cultivate 'reading culture' amongst the students library increases a collection of general reading books also from time to time.
The library has subscribed e-journals as well as print journals over Rs. 25 lakhs. The total investment in the library is more than Rs. 3.37 crores.

Digital Library:
In the modern information based era, the students and faculties require pinpointed, exhaustive and quick information. To fulfill this requirement, we have developed a well equipped Digital Library with 50 computers to provide access to electronic resources such as e-journals, e-books, digitized question papers etc. The students and faculties can search, browse, download or print the article from e-journal or a portion from e-book, subject to copyright restrictions. The GATE CDs are also made available to the students for the preparation of GATE examination which is helpful to the students to face the GATE examination confidently and successfully.
The RIT's New Central Library Building | ||||||
RIT Central Library will soon be housed in an independent, four-storied, air conditioned and wi-fi enabled building with a carpet area of over 35,000 Sq. ft. It will be a full-fledged, high-tech learning center for the engineering and management community in the vicinity and, in particular for students, faculties and staff of the Institute. The lower ground floor having area of 6475 sq. ft. shall be reserved for stacking. A Bank Extension Counter and an ATM facility could be availed on the same floor. There would be a small reading area also. The upper ground floor will have availability of waiting room, index search circulation counter, reference section and digital library. There would be space for exhibition and cabins for the library staff, here. The first and second floors are primarily dedicated for the stacking of books. Here, we shall also have cubicles for research scholars, who could accommodate 32 of them and digital library. There would be two ultra modern reading halls on these floors which can accommodate more than 500 learners, each table shall be provided with a terminal for laptop/notepad. HOSTELS:

There are 4 boys hostels. And INR 18000 per year fee is there. The food in college is good. Quality of classroom is great.

Our college had a very good library. The hostel is also available. Hostel fee is 17000 per year. The mess is also there near the hostels.
