  • The method of teaching is very good but the quality is also better.

  • There are a number of societies from technical to dramatics at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, every sport is played and equipment provided being dumbells to Table Tennis.
  • IEEE fervor is the annual festival which is organized but there are other societies like ISTE, ACM, NSS having their separate grand festival as well, but all these festivals are generally technical but also provide a stage for drama and music as well.
  • There is also a Bi-Annual cultural festival "Xtasy" which is also very popular.
  • The overall experience is positive, college is good only for IT placements but provides numerous opportunities for research.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering), batch of 2018
  • The main aspect BVP is known for is its teaching. I'd even call it the best college in IPU in terms of teaching.
  • The lectures are comprehensive and even teaching aids are used to give presentations in order to understand the topic better.
  • Unlike most colleges, the classes are held regularly and even though there is a bit of strictness in terms of attendance, it isn't a big issue.
  • The teachers are quite helpful and easily accessible outside of classes, they even help in writing research papers.
  • The class timings are 8.30 to 4.30 for the morning shift and 10.30 to 6.30 for evening shifts.
  • The exams are fairly tough and checking is strict.
  • Overall experience in BVP is something which won't be forgotten ever.
  • BVP has a large number of student societies which not only organize technical workshops but also organize plays and competitions as well.
  • Student can be a part of a number of societies and even the teachers cooperate with society events.
  • BVP has yearly technical fest and a bi-annual cultural fest.
  • Apart from this, many societies hold their own fest as well like CSI Regional Student Convention.
  • BVP has inter as well as inter-college sports events, with a team of students as well as teachers.
  • The life in BVP is full of experiences and since the college has almost everything, there is rarely any need to go outside for enjoyment.
  • Still, there are many markets nearby like Gola Market and Jwaka Hedi.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering), batch of 2018
  • The quality of teaching is average as in most of the engineering colleges.
  • But, exceptions are always there. You get a decent environment in the college.
  • There are in total 11 student societies in college. Which covers almost any aspect of life, right from technical, cultural to personal development.
  • The main fest of BVCE is Bv'est. Although, each society organises their own fest once a year.
  • Overall, the social life is above par in this college.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering), batch of 2018
  • Surprisingly for an IP college, the rules at BVCOE are strictly enforced. One has to maintain an attendance percentage of 75% in one sessional to be able to write the exams. There are no dress codes, and faculty is prompt for taking lectures every day and taking attendance as well. The internals also depends on your performance in 2 sessionals of 10 marks each which are then totaled with 5 marks for attendance, regularity etc.The rest 75 marks depend on the final examinations. At least 50 marks are required out of total 100 to pass the examination.
  • Even though there are aberrations, the teaching has been generally good. They use teaching tools like ppts etc for better understanding.Even though you may find your teachers rather cold on your first year by the time you get to third-year faculty would have warmed up to you. In that sense, Faculty is friendly. Strictness is carried on to lab work as well.
  • Also at the end of your third year, you would be provided with in-house training on a topic of your choice.

  • Various student clubs are -

and various other minor clubs like literary club, sports club etc.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering), batch of 2018
  • The College begins at 8:40 am for the first shift till 4:30pm in the evening. The second shifts have timings from 10:30am- 6:30 pm.
  • The college has a decent faculty with sound knowledge of their subjects.
  • The campus boasts many societies on the campus and each society is very active with events all around the year with great participation.
  • The college organises a tech fest in October and Cultural fest in March (which is biannual- the weak point) apart from many fests organised by the individual societies.
  • The college life is just average as the attendance issues always discourage students to enjoy their college life and live freely.

B.Tech (Information Technology, batch of 2019
  • The one thing that Bharati Vidyapeeth is known for is the quality of education that it provides. It is one of the few colleges which really cares for the students and what they learn.
  • Assignments are given on a regular basis, at the end of which a test is conducted.
  • My overall experience in this college is good and I'm quite happy with it.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering), batch of 2016
  • The Teachers are good and take initiative in teaching subjects. Teaching time for each subjects runs for an hour. Overall the timings, exams, and assignments provided are average. But, the main drawback of the college is they don't give marks in exams, so students are demotivated to perform well.
  • There are many Clubs, Societies for enthusiastic students.
  • Many sports festivals, fests, quizzes are organised within the campus.
  • Overall its good experience in college.
