Founded in 1983, KIT's College of Engineering (Autonomous), Kolhapur, is a prestigious university connected to Shivaji University and has received an A+ grade from the NAAC. Offering undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in a range of engineering specialties, including biotechnology, mechanical, and civil, it is Maharashtra's first self-financed engineering college.
