Shivaji University, Kolhapur is located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Established in 1962, the name of the university is named in memory of the Great Maratha Warrior and the founder of the Maratha Empire Chhatrapati Shivaji. The university has 280 Shivaji-affiliated colleges and recognized institutes.  Also, there are 34 post-graduate departments currently. SUK has established a unique scheme for meritious students called 'Shivaji University Merit Scholarship' offering 500 scholarships and also initiating a research fellowship for PhD students in the PG Departments.

Shivaji University Admission

Shivaji University follows a well-organized admission process for 2023 and the entire process is done online. Below listed are the steps to be followed by interested students to apply for the university:

Shivaji University Eligibility Criteria

Shivaji University has certain eligibility criteria for different courses which a student are required to have for their successful admission to the university. The following are the eligibility criteria for the courses offered

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations in the science stream.
• Having scored at least 50% taken with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as subjects.

B.Com Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination [preferably in Commerce].
• Having scored at least 50% aggregate marks.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed a graduate degree in any discipline and obtained at least 50% aggregate marks.

Shivaji University, Kolhapur, will soon announce the SUK results from 2022 after examinations commence on their official website. In addition, students can check their UG, PG, Certificate and Diploma course results online by entering their ten-digit PRN number on the SUK student portal. The university usually conducts the semester examinations in October-November and March-April.
