The three Educational Institutions offers different courses to the students in terms of Law, Business, and Executive Educational Programmes. For example, one of the institute’s PGDM programmes has specialization in Marketing, Finance, International Business and Data Science

  • IFIM Business School offers 2 courses in the Management discipline: PGDM and Ph.D.
  • IFIM College offers six courses in management discipline: BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, MBA, and M.com.

Candidates can access the online application form-2020 from the official website of the University based on the desired course for admission into IFIM Institutions. The admission process for admission in IFIM, Bangalore is:

IFIM MBA Eligibility

The MBA programme at IFIM, Bangalore is reserved to those having minimum marks in graduation. At the same time, candidates appearing in their last year or semester exams can also apply for the proposed programme. The selection process of IFIM MBA programme highly considers the applicant’s marks in the entrance examination. MBA Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Based on CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT score, Academic Record and PI.

IFIM Admission Process

  • IFIM shortlist candidates based on the score in CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT.
  • The shortlisted candidates are then invited for the PI round.
  • The final selection depends upon the above entrance exams, academic record, and performance in PI.
  • The college informs all the selected candidates through email.

IFIM UG Admission 2020

There are 4 UG courses in the IFIM college namely BBA, BCA, BA Journalism, and B.Com and 2 UG courses in IFIM Law School namely LLB and BBA-LLB(Integrated). Candidates can secure admission in all the UG courses on the basis of their academic records and PI.

IFIM UG Eligibility

The college shortlists candidates for UG Programmes on the basis of the academic record. After which the shortlisted candidates have to be present for PI round. Finally, IFIM selects applicants depending upon their past academic record and performance in PI. The selected candidates are intimated through email.

Course Eligibility Admission Criteria
BBA Candidates should have passed XII standard/PUC or equivalent thereto as prescribed by Bangalore University. Based on Academic Record and Personal Interview
BCA Candidate must pass 2 years PUC or equivalent examination in Science, Arts or Commerce stream with minimum 35% of marks or Candidate who has passed JODC or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 35% of aggregate marks in all semesters.
BA in Journalism Candidates should have passed XII standard/PUC or equivalent thereto as prescribed by Bangalore University.
B.Com Candidates must pass 2 years Pre-University examination of Karnataka State or equivalent or Candidates who have passed Diploma in Secretarial/ Commercial practice conducted by Board of Technical Examination, Karnataka may also be eligible for admission directly to the 2nd year of B.Com. degree or Candidates who have passed Diploma in Business Administration conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Karnataka may also be eligible for admission directly to the 1st year of B.Com. degree.
LLB Have secured marks, which shall not be below 45% (44.5% and above shall be treated as 45% of total marks in case of general category applicants and 40% of total marks in case of SC and ST applicants. Based on the performance in IFIM's Law Admission Test (ILAT) and Essay Writing(30 mins) followed by a Personal Interview
BBA, LLB Candidate should have passed +2/PUC or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST candidates. The study criteria should belong to 10/SSLC, +2/PUC pattern. The applicant who has passed the prescribed minimum qualification in single sitting examination without having basic qualification is not eligible for admission for 5 years BBA, LL.B. course and Be or be less than twenty years in case of general category of applicants and less than twenty-two years in the case of applicants from SC, ST and other backward communities as on 25th April 2019 and Must have qualified in any one of the entrance examinations, viz., CLAT, LSAT- India or ILAT (IFIM’s Law Admission Test) Short-listed candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final decision to admit a candidate will be based on the academic record and the performance in a personal interview.

IFIM PG Admission 2020

The institute offers M.Com and PGDM under the PG admission 2020. PGDM comes under IFIM Business School with specializations in the fields of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations, Finance, International Business, Banking, and Financial Services, Capital Markets and Digital Business, Entrepreneurship and Family Business, Business Analytics. The proposed course has concurrent pedagogy developed in association with industry experts. Details regarding M.Com, PGDM eligibility and admission criteria are as follows.

IFIM PG Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at IFIM Institutions must have passed graduation from a recognized University with the minimum required marks. However, 5% in marks percentile has been relaxed for SC, ST candidates. Marks obtained in national-level management entrance tests will also be considered for PGDM admission at IFIM Business School. For M.Com admission, an applicant must have passed graduation in BBA, B.Com (BBM) or equivalent from a notified University with the minimum required marks percentage. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and performance in the personal interview.

Course Eligibility Admission Criteria
M.Com Candidate must possess a graduate degree in BBA (BBM), B.Com or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC, ST candidates) from a recognized University Candidates are selected based on academic performance and performance in the personal interview
PGDM An applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST category) in graduation from a recognized University Admissions are done based on marks secured in CAT, GMAT, XAT followed components such as work experience, academic track record, personal interview, group exercise, and innovative potential test.

IFIM Ph.D Admission 2020

The institute also offers a Doctoral programme in Management. The proposed course has been recognized by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The application form for Ph.D programme can be obtained from the official site of VTU. Along with the application form, an applicant has to prepare a write-up of his or her research topic and produce it during the discussion with the guide. The discussion will be held at IFIM, located in Phase I Electronic City.

IFIM Ph.D Eligibility 

Candidates must meet the basic requirements set up by Visvesvaraya Technological University for Ph.D admission. After submitting the application form through IFIM, the applicant has to attend Ph.D aptitude test conducted by VTU. Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

When the admission process began, I was first asked to undergo MCQ test, which had questions relating to General Knowledge, Math and English. Once finishing that test, HOD of my course took a personal interview, where I was tested about current happenings in the world and was given the situation and asked to answer based on them. The eligible criteria was to finish Grade 12 from Science, commerce or Arts background.

  • The eligibility criteria are that you should have a minimum percentage of 50% in you PU board exam/12th.
  • The entrance exam is easy. They will provide you with a question paper of general knowledge(MCQ's) marked out of 30. 15 will be the passing marks.
  • Once you clear this, the next procedure will be a personal interview.
  • Cutoffs depend on the marks you score and the scholarships in your name.
