Placements & Internships : Internships for the students are normally arranged during summer i.e after the end of 2nd sem. Different companies provide different amount of stipends. For internships students may have to relocate if neccessary and the duration is normally 2-3 months. Companies that visit our college for placements are as follows I.T sector:TCS,WIPRO,IBM Manufacturing: exide,CESC,Mendine Pharma Finance: ICICI,CRISIL,MAGMA fincorp Marketing: Ac Nielson,PWC,IMRB Sales: Bajaj Alliance,HSBC These are many more companies that come for placement but they do not come every year and the no. of student they select vary from year to year. Average salary is around Rs 5.5 LPA with highest being Rs 10.5 LPA and lowest being Rs 3.6 LPA. We have a strong alumni network. We have a club called Alcom which organizes alumni meet every year.

Academics & Faculty : Classes start from 10.30a.m and end at 5.45p.m, we have a four periods with an inetrval of 15 min and a recess break of 45 min. Quality of teaching is good, faculties teach us through slides as well as gives running notes so we dont always have to buy text books always. Overall Experience is good.

Fees & Scholarships : Total course fee is Rs 5,40,000. In 1st year an amount of Rs 2,79,000 is to be paid and the rest in the 2nd year. D.K Sanyal Gold medal is awarded to the candidate standing first in order of merit in final examination Loans are easily available, banks that provide loans are all govt. banks as well as pvt banks like hdfc,dhfl.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facility is available with separate hostel for boys and girls. The current boys hostel can accomodate 19 students and the girls hostel can accomodate 42 students.Hostels are under cctv surveillance and every room is equipped with wifi. The hostel fee is about Rs 3500 per month. Since the college is located at the heart of kolkata i.e college street it will be a bit difficult to find a pg just a few steps away from college but there are many pg around sealdah,salt lake, bhawanipur,tollygunge,kasba,Ruby bypass etc. Our college is just a 2-3 min walk from central metro station and 10min from Sealdah station. The canteen food is quite good with reasonable prices. Since our college is located in the college street area we have plenty of options available of finding cheap food items but they are maily roadside eateries.  

Clubs & Associations : We have the following clubs: Finvestec, the finance club; Verkoop, the marketing club;Abhisaran, the hr club;Ecell, the club that encourage all kind of entrepreneurial activities. The Ecell of our college is associated with National Entrepreneurship Network(NEN). Resonance- a photographic society of our college, We also have different committees like Visargah-the posters and brochures committee;Alcomm-Committee dealing with all kinds of Alumni networking;Events Committee-they are responisble for carrying out the events;Sports com-they are responisble for organizin different sporting events and tournaments both intra as well as inter college tournaments. The main festivals of our colleges are: Umeed,kreeda,paradigm,navikaran,guru-kshetra,entreprerna etc.
