Post Graduate Program [PGP] Details

IIM Kozhikode PGP is a two-year program leading to an MBA degree. It also provides an internship as a part of the course. The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode offers 4 PGP courses that are mainly PGP, PGP in Finance, PGP in Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LGM), and PGP in Business Leadership (PGP-BL).

Admission to the IIM Kozhikode PGP program is based on the CAT/GMAT or GRE based on the course. For PGP, CAT scores are considered for Indian students and the GMAT score for international students. Both exams are conducted once a year.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Admission

IIM Kozhikode admission is based on CAT/GMAT/GRE scores. Students must appear for the required entrance exam and fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates are shortlisted based on the scores of the entrance exam first. Then selected students are called for a personal interaction that includes a written ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI).

The final merit list is prepared on scores of entrance exam, performance during PI and WAT, academic record, and gender/academic diversity. The IIM Kozhikode PGP admission procedure includes a written ability test followed by a personal interview. Candidates are also required to submit a Statement of Purpose at the time of interview. 

Candidates in their last year of graduation may also apply for CAT. If they are selected, they will only be admitted provisionally, and they need to submit a certificate from their college or university by June 30 of the admission year.

Application Procedure

Entrance Exam

Students must appear in Common Admission Test (CAT)/ Graduation Management Test or Graduate Record Examinations(GRE) for admission to PGP course. The GMAT is for international students seeking admission to IIM Kozhikode.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Fees

The IIM Kozhikode PGP fees is updated for every session. The updated PGP fee is INR 20.50 Lakhs. The total course fee includes tuition fees and a caution deposit.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Scholarships

IIM Kozhikode offers merit-based scholarships and need-based scholarships. Candidates can also get scholarships from the central government, state government, and private organizations. Listed below are some of the scholarships for which students can apply

• IIMK Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA): The institution provides this scholarship for student who has taken up an education loan and whose annual income is less than INR 8 lakh.
• Top Class Education Scheme for SC: The Central Government offers this scholarship specifically for SC students.
• National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students: It is a government scholarship offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and it is provided to the student whose family's annual income is less than INR 6 lakh.
