Additional Details for Indian Institute of Forest Management, [IIFM] Bhopal:

• The minimum qualification for all candidates shall be Post Graduate degree/diploma in the field of Science/Engineering/ Management and related Social sciences or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks recognized by an Indian University or Association of Indian Universities.
• The relaxation of 5% marks at the Master's Degree (P.G) eligibility criterion shall be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/DA category.
• UGC/ CSIR/ ICAR-NET qualified candidates and candidates with PGDFM from IIFM with a minimum of 3.0 OGPA shall be exempted from written test and shall be directly called for interview. 

Scholarships at Indian Institute of Forest Management, [IIFM] Bhopal:

• The Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Castes (SC) Students: This scheme recognizes this institute as an Institute of Excellence. This scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. There are 4 scholarships under this which are made available to the SC category students at IIFM. The scholarship will cover the expenditure of full-fee, lodging and boarding charges, books and stationery charges at a fixed rate.

• Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribes (ST) Students: This scheme is offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. Five scholarships are provided to the ST category students under this scheme. The scholarship will include the expenditure of full- fee, lodging and boarding charges, and books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.

• Performance Linked Merit Scholarship Scheme: This scheme has been envisioned to create and maintain a competitive spirit among students. It encourages them to progressively perform well in each term. Under this scheme, 20 merit scholarships of INR 5000/- is awarded per month from the end of the first term. The institute prepared a merit list of eligible students based on the recommendation of the PFM Committee. 

• Academic Awards: The meritorious students of PGDFM are awarded the Chairman’s Gold and Silver medals. These awards are based on the OGPA on Completion of the programme. The Director’s Medal is awarded for the best Summer Internship.
