Computer Labs
- The computer centre has the hardware and software resources to serve a wide range of computing requirements.
- IIFM Bhopal Lab has a local area network (LAN) with several PCs and state of the art Geographic Information System (GIS) and image processing facilities.
- Students get access to computers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Campus-wide local area network with wireless LAN support on a fibre optic backbone, with computers from various domains supporting Word Processing, Spreadsheet and RDBMS Packages, Statistical Software, CASE Tools, Programming languages, Project Management, and Financial Accounting Software.
- Latest TFT-display desktops, AO-sized scanners, AO-sized plotters, Laser and High-Speed Printers, ARC/INFO GIS Software, ERDAS Imagine Digital Image Processing Software, SPSS, and Tally.
- 24 hour Internet access, Wi-Fi classrooms, and e-mail via a dedicated leased line of 4 MBPS from BSNL and the National Knowledge Network (NKN) can be used by the students. Video conferencing is also available for a variety of purposes.
Hostel
- The hostel complex is made up of three hostels: Nilgiri, Vindhyachal, and Aravalli. All hostels have a solar/geyser system providing hot water throughout the year.
- IIFM Bhopal hostel has common rooms with TV and DTH connection, a gym, and indoor games, among other amenities.
- The internet is available in the hostel rooms via LAN.
- Every other day, doctors come to the IIFM Campus. Students can consult them for free, but they must obtain their own medications. In a medical emergency, students are given access to the institute's vehicle, which allows them to consult doctors outside of campus.
- The hostel complex has three air-conditioned rooms available for parents visiting their wards at a low cost.
Mess: Mess is governed by a student mess committee on a cooperative basis. It is equipped with fully mechanised and semi-automatic cooking technologies. It can accommodate roughly 300 individuals at a time.
Sports
- The IIFM Bhopal offers various sports facilities.
- Indoor and outdoor sports such as badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, carrom, football, cricket, and volleyball are well-supported at the institute.
Library-
- The IIFM Bhopal library features cutting-edge technical applications as well as print and digital assets.
- The library primarily houses information on forestry, climate change, the environment, management, and related topics.
- It has a massive collection of over 42820 volumes. The library was a subscriber to 207 print periodicals, including newspapers, magazines, and foreign journals.
- The library offers over 2200 online full-text journals as well as several abstracting databases to its users.
- It provides information services and access to digital resources to support faculty, PFM students, MRM students, research scholars, MDP participants, and the wider academic community's informational needs.
