• Central sector scholarship scheme of top-class education for SC students: The scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. There are a total of 4 scholarships offered to the SC category students at IIFM Bhopal. The Indian Institute of Forest Management scholarship covers the expenditure of full-fee, lodging charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.

• Central sector scholarship scheme of top-class education for ST students: This scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. A total of five scholarships are provided to the ST category students under this scheme. The scholarship covers full-fee, lodging charges, books and stationary charges at a fixed rate.

• Performance linked merit scholarship scheme: This scheme has been envisioned to create and maintain a competitive spirit among students. It encourages them to progressively perform well in each term. Under this scheme, 20 merit scholarships of INR 5000/- are awarded every month from the end of the first term. The institute prepares a merit list of eligible students based on the recommendation of the PFM committee.
