Guru Nanak Institute of Technology is a Private Engineering College under MAKAUT (WBUT). The college is very good. Excellent infrastructure with qualified faculties and campus life. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Wonderful campus. The college has sufficient infrastructure to provide. GNIT has all necessary infrastructure. Classrooms are sufficiently spacious, airy. Digital classrooms are there for the departments. Free wifi available in the campus. Anyone can access. Cleanliness is also very good. Food is available in the canteen / cafeteria. Anyone can have the food from there. Food quality is also good and the canteen is sufficiently clean. College corridors, classrooms are also clean and hygienic. Placement is also very good.
Placements : Generally, the first preference is given to the talent and skills of the individual studentand not dependent on percentage and
companies like TCS, Wipro and others will recruit with the highest package of 18lakhs. Internships are offered for every student. About 60 to 70% of the students get placed. The highest salary package offered is about 8 to 10 LPA, the average salary package
offered is 6 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 3 to 5 LPA.Infrastructure : We have Wi-Fi availability.Labs are
well-equipped, and digital classrooms are also available here. The library has wide varieties of books related to all topics, and you can get many of it. Hostels have 24 hours water facility, and rooms are provided with WLAN or Wi-Fi. Maximum varieties

To be eligible for the course one must appear for a CET(Common Entrance Test) examination. If a good enough rank is achieved the student can proceed with the rest of the admission procedure. The faculty in admission cell of the college guides with every step to make the procedure hassle free. The cutoff percentage may vary.

Admissions to any of our programmes offered are strictly following the guidance of West Bengal University of Technology. Aspiring students can submit the duly filled Application Form. Admissions will be through the relevant Admission Committee. All candidates should have a valid rank of WBJEE / AIEEE and allotted a seat through Central Selection Counseling.
