BA [Bachelor of Arts] Details
Additional Details:
Eligibility Criteria for BA:
- CET Code for Bachelor of Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication) is 126 and for Bachelor of Arts (English) (Honours) is 184.
- Candidate must have passed 12th with a minimum of 50% in aggregate and English should also be one of the subjects studied at 10+2 Level.
- Candidates must Qualify CET Test conducted by University.
- In case of Self Financing Colleges/Institutes (except Minority Institutions), admissions will be through10% Management Quota seats. However, in the case of University Schools of Studies, Govt. Institutes and Minority Institutions, there will be no Management Quota.
- CET Exam Pattern for Bachelor of Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication)(BJMC):
i. English Language & Comprehension – (25%)
ii. General Awareness- (25%)
iii. Reasoning- (25%)
iv. Media Aptitude- (25%)
- CET Exam Pattern for Bachelor of Arts (English)(BAENG):
i. General English (50%)
ii. Literary Aptitude (30%)
iii. General Awareness (20%)
Admission Procedure:
BJMC or Bachelor of Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication):
- Online Counselling will be conducted for admission in BJMC i.e. Bachelor of Arts (Journalism & Mass Communication).
- Online Counselling fees are INR 1000 which can be either paid through Challan or by online mode.
- After Fee Confirmation, Candidate has to Register himself by entering all details online.
- After getting Registered, Candidates will get Login id and Password.
- After login, Candidate can take Printout of Registration Form which can be further used for future Reference.
- The candidate has to fill the choice of institute necessarily.
- If seat gets allotted to the student, the student can print out the provisional seat allotment letter.
- After Seat Allotment, Candidate can pay tuition fee
- The candidate has to report with documents after all the above process.
- If any seats left Vacant after Online Counselling also, Such seats will be filled through offline "spot Counselling".
- Offline Spot Counselling fee is INR 2000.
BAENG or Bachelor of Arts (English):
- There will be offline counselling for BAENG.
- Counselling fee is 1000/-
