BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women was established with the sole aim of harnessing and polishing the talent and skills of the women. It first started with an intake of about 240 students and currently extended the intake up to 360 students. It aims at the empowerment of women engineers and technocrats with an emphasis on academic excellence.

The BVRIT Admissions are offered for various courses in Engineering. They aim to be the best institutes of technology and research in the country which is dedicated to the cause of promoting quality technical education. The curriculum develops students' personality and has an environment where bright minds meet, discover, and learn.

• There is a central placement cell under Sri Vishnu Educational society that facilitates the students of all the Colleges.
• The cell offers advice, guidance, information, and job-seeking support to the students.
• A total of 183 students have been placed in 31 companies out of which 98 were CSE, 92 were ECE, 31 were EEE, and 33 were IT.
• The highest package offered was 7 LPA by NCR.

• The College library has 19006 volumes, 2426 titles, and a seating capacity of 150 students.

• The Canteen provides hygienic food, there is also a juice corner, bakery, and coffee shop open 24x7.
• There is a gym with well-equipped equipment for the students.
• They provide 24x7 security and have 2 security officers, 15 CCTV, and a separate security officer at each hostel.

• The College was shortlisted as the only college in Telangana for Best Practices among the approved colleges.
• It was awarded the Top Performing College award which is a T15 award in the TGMC organized by IBM in 2016.
• They were presented the National Employability Award for being amongst the top 10% colleges in Telangana on 2017
• The College got the 3rd position in the Telangana State Emerging Private Engineering Colleges survey conducted by the TIMES OF INDIA.
