BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, Hyderabad was established under the Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) in 2012 by Chairman Sri K V Vishnu Raju. It initially started with 250 students offering admissions to four Engineering departments, namely Electronics and Electrical Engineering Department, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Computer Science Engineering department, and Information Technology department. The Institute provides various academic and infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty members of the Institute. BVRIT Hyderabad has also formed various student associations and clubs working for students' progress by providing them with the platform to showcase their skills and talents.

BVRIT Hyderabad Training and Internship Program:

In BVRIT each student has to undertake summer training in companies of repute for a duration of 6-8 weeks. Students are required to work on different projects given to them either by the sponsoring organization or selected by the students themselves. The project report is an absolute learning exercise for students to apply particular technical concepts into practical situations as experienced in an industrial milieu.
