Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering was established in the year 1983 and is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering was established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in 1983. BVUCOE is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) which has been Accredited to A+ grade in its third cycle by ‘NAAC’ in 2017. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has accredited programs of BVUCOE in 2018, 2012 and 2005. BVUCOE ranked among the top 100 Engineering Institutes of India continuously for three years by NIRF, MHRD, Govt. of India. Ranked 83rd at National Level by NIRF 2018. The vision of Bharati Vidyapeeth is “To be world-class University for Social Transformation Through DynamicEducation”. BVUCOE offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses in a number of specializations.

Candidates are selected for BVUCOE admission 2020 through an entrance exam conducted by the college. Candidates need to regularly check the official website for application form and admission notice. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination could also apply to any of these programs, provided they submit the necessary documents within the stipulated time. BVUCOE UG Admission 2020

The minimum requirement for admission to the B.Tech courses is a qualification in 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% marks or any other recognized board. Candidates with the minimum required qualifications at the 10+2 level have to take up Bharati Vidyapeeth Common Entrance Test (BVP CET), which is held in the month of May, to be considered for admission to B.Tech at BVUCOE.

BVUCOE UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Details

Admission into the B.Tech courses at BVUCOE is entrance based. Candidates must appear in BVP CET conducted by the college every year. BVP CET is a national level exam and is conducted in various locations across the country. CET is conducted by the University and the last date for submission of the application to appear on the CET. Candidates who have given their 10+2 board exam but whose results have not been announced yet are also eligible to appear for the CET provided they score a minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examinations. The scorecards will need to be submitted to the University once the results are declared by the respective board.

BVUCOE B. Tech Admission 2020

The college offers B.Tech in 9 specializations. The aspiring candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 examinations conducted by CBSE or any other recognized board. They must also have studied Physics and Mathematics as the two compulsory subjects along with one of the following as an optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject or Biology. The selection is done through the Entrance exam conducted by the University.

BVUCOE PG Admission 2020

BVUCOE offers M. Tech as PG Programme. The admission to the M.Tech course requires that the aspiring candidates have a B.E or B.Tech degree from the respective branch or an equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or Associate Membership (AMIE) in the respective branch with valid Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) score.

Selection is through BVP CET or GATE. Candidates need to appear in the Entrance exam conducted by a college or appear in CET or Gate.

BVUCOE M. Tech Admission 2020

The college offers M.Tech in 8 specializations. The aspiring candidates must have a B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent degree approved by AICTE or AMIE with a valid GATE score. The bachelor’s degree must be from a relevant specialization. In the M.Tech courses, out of the 18 seats available for each specialization, 5 are reserved for sponsored candidates, 3 are reserved for SC/ ST and the remaining 10 are open. However, this distribution is not applicable to the M.Tech Nanotechnology course. Admission is done on the basis of performance in BVP CET. Sponsored candidates must have two-year experience working at a registered organization. A letter from the employer must be submitted stating that the candidate is being sponsored for the course.

BVUCOE Application Form 2020

The application can be done in online or offline mode. For candidates applying online, the application form is available on the official website of the University.

  • Candidates applying online can pay the application fees through credit card or debit card or internet banking and complete their form submission.

  • In the offline mode, the payment can be done through a Demand Draft amounting to INR 1700 payable at Pune, in favor of ‘Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune” or through cash, which can be paid at the office.

  • The application form has to be submitted along with the self-attested copies of the following documents. Mark's statement of class 10th and 12th, Mark statement of highest educational qualification and Caste certificate (if any).

Note: The admission fee for various courses at the University will be based on BVUCOE fee structure.

The eligibility criteria is pretty nominal, you need a atleast a 60% average marks in your boards to appear for the exam There is a separate entrance examination held every year. The questions asked is pretty much easy. But if you're looking to get in computer science branch than you better get yourself among the first 100 ranks. Bharati vidyapeeth university college of engineering conducts a exam BVP-cet for admission . You need to clear the exam . The eligibility criteria to appear for exam is you need to score more than 50% in pcm in class 12 exams . The cutoffs for computerscience is 130 rank in the entrance exam For information technology it is around 400 rank and 1200 rank for electronics and telecommunications

Bharti Vidyapeeth is a deemed University and conducts its own entrance exam called BVP CET. Those students who have more than 60% marks in the 12th Board are applicable to write this exam. Cut-off depends on the performance and marks scored on the entrance exam. On the basis of average performance cut-off is set and then eligible students are called for the counseling session at our campus in Pune.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to First Year of B-Tech Courses

The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination of any recognized Board/ University from any school /college situated in India.

  1. The minimum qualification for admissions in Degree Engineering Programme is that the candidate should have passed in 10+2 (qualifying) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subject:

    a) Chemistry b) Bio-Technology c) Technical Vocational Subject d) Biology

    The candidate must have obtained at least 45 percent marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category) in the above subjects taken together at the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 / HSC/Equivalent.
  2. Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. HSC etc. but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering), provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects in the said examinations.
