ACADEMICS & FACULTY

  • The daily routine for classes is described by facilities in Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research, New Delhi. There are only a few faculties who really want to teach students or else study portion in this college is totally worst and generally, students do time pass in the college campus.
  • The methodology of teaching as I have told is not good but students have to depend completely on themselves to do their studies. My overall experience in my college is very poor because the college life in our college is totally worst.
  • You can find more crowd in any primary school than our college.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS
3.0
  • The Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research, New Delhi has too many societies such as dance, drama, and for other cultural societies but those societies are managed by seniors of college. So these societies are not in good condition now because only a few of students are now interested in taking responsibility for such kind of works.
  • If we talk about festivals there is the only festival celebrated by college every year, our annual fest and the responsibility of this festival is also on the college seniors.
  • If I talk about last 3 years, the budget and overall performance in college fest are not good enough so don't try to compare our college fest with the fest of colleges of DU. Oi If I finally talk about college life is bad, it is not the place where you can enjoy your college life. There is a lack of crowd in college. Students appear in college only up to 2 months after their admission after that I don't know why they disappeared. There are no issues of attendance. So students who realize that there is no need to attend college will not attend college and this is the reason why there is a lack of crowd
  • . If I finally talk about our college, of you want to waste your college life and are ready to do sacrifices of fun and enjoy, then must take admission in this college.

  • The classes are regular in the college with class timing from 9am to 5:30pm with some gaps in between. Regular practical takes place for the better understanding of the subjects.
  • From 2014, there are changes in exams which were two sessionals and semester exams before. Now 2014 session onwards there is a midterm exam followed by semester exam in the end.
  • Teachers are selected through UPSC exam, hence they are well educated.
  • Being a govt college, the attendance tension is almost nil. You can work on your projects taking help of the teachers who are ready to help anytime. You can play almost all games in the college. Sadly, there is no gym, but  you can stay fit by playing. Canteen is well maintained but not with so many options.
  • The overall experience is very good at Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS

  • There are a lot of clubs and student societies in the college with all the interests. Like there is a major technical club name IEEE. Also, other active clubs like literary, Sports, Dance, Music, Dramatics etc are there which performs on every occasion in the college whenever required.
  • There are also some other student societies in Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research like robotics and hacking society which you can join and seniors give knowledge to the students in them.
  • The main festivals on campus are Proscenium which is the technical fest and Conversance which is the cultural festival. Both the festivals are organized in the month of February or March in which the students from the college as well as from other colleges come to showcase their talents.
  • Also other small events like sports tournaments, hacking competitions, coding competitions takes place from time to time.
  • The life in the college is very good. I really like our college life. The students are very friendly whether seniors or juniors. There are a whole lot of other fields outside studies to showcase the talent in you.

The teaching staff at Ambedkar Institute of Technology is improving over the years. Students in the past weren’t satisfied with the level of teaching but now they seem quite content. The teachers for Circuits & Systems, DBMS are quite popular in the Computer department for the way they teach and interact with students. The faculty for Mathematics is pretty average and students demand for a change. Most of the lectures are experienced and are qualified while a few are freshers and need to be polished thoroughly. The lectures are conducted in English and Hindi, depending upon the mood of the teacher.

Most of the students are from the main city of Delhi and other parts of the NCR region. Moreover, you see students from Bihar, Harayana and Punjab in every batch. Boys to girls ratio is 70:30 which is very obvious in the engineering world. Ragging is strictly prohibited and there have been no cases in the past. Overall, the crowd is quite friendly and mixing.
