Born in London and raised in India, Shashi Tharoor graduated from St. Stephen's College in BA and then culminated his studies at Tufts University with a doctoral degree.

2. Konkona Sen Sharma

6. Virbhadra Singh
The fourth Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh, served six terms and 21 years as an Indian politician. In his last days, he served as a state legislator from the Arki constituency.

Barka Dutt is a renowned Indian Journalist, Author, and owner of YouTube channel Mojo Story. She was part of NDTV's team for 21 years and opinion columnist with The Washington Post and The Hindustan Times. After reporting from the frontline during the Kargil conflict between India and Pakistan, Barkha emerged as a prominent figure. Many national and international awards have been given to Dutt over the years, including the fourth highest civilian honor in India, the Padma Shri.

8. Khushwant Singh
Khushwant Singh was an Indian Politician, Author, Lawyer, Journalist, and a Diplomat. He wrote the book Train to Pakistan in 1956, inspired by his experience in the 1947 Partition of India.
Singh received the Padma Bhushan in 1974 but returned it in 1984 after the Indian Army raided Amritsar in Operation Blue Star. A Padma Vibhushan was bestowed upon him, the second-highest civilian award in India, in 2007.

10. Mani Shankar Aiyar
Mani Shankar Aiyar is an Indian Politician, Member of the Indian National Congress Party, Formar Civil Servant and Diplomat. He was also an Hon. Board of Advisors of IIMUN. In the 10th, 13th, and 14th Lok Sabhas, he represented the Mayiladuthurai constituency in Tamil Nadu. Rajya Sabha nominated him as a member of parliament. The 2014 Lok Sabha election saw him finish fourth and lose his deposit from Mayiladuthurai.
