ICAR Dress Code 

The ICAR dress code is different for males and females. Candidates are requested to wear the permitted dresses to avoid any frisking. The dress code for male and female candidates is detailed below. 

ICAR Dress Code for Females

The basic ICAR dress code for all females is to wear simple dresses to avoid confusion or checking. 

• This means that clothing should be basic and modest. 
• Female candidates must avoid pants, suits or dresses with multiple pockets.
• Further, they avoid clothing that is revealing or too casual. Jeans, shorts, and revealing clothing such as tank tops, spaghetti straps, and short skirts are prohibited. 
• Clothing with large logos or graphics, or clothing that could be considered distracting, is also prohibited.

ICAR Dress Code for Males

On exam days, male candidates are required to wear formal attire. Here are some ICAR dress code guidelines:

• Men are expected to wear a collared shirt and trousers. 
• In addition to the dress code, male students must be clean-shaven and have neatly groomed hair. 
• Jewellery should be avoided to draw any kind of attention.
• Candidates must ensure that they don't wear any cargo or lose pants.
• Besides, they should avoid wearing boots, shoes, and canvas.

ICAR Dress Code - Banned Items

The following list of things not allowed in the ICAR exam hall. At all costs, the candidates must not own these things. If any of the items listed below are discovered to be in the hands of the candidates, strict action will be taken.

1. Electronic devices like mobile phones, pen drives, earbuds, and fitness bands.
2. Since the exam is online, stationery materials like calculators, pens, log tables, etc. are not required.
3. Analog or digital watches.
4. Food items, a plaque, and water bottles with unique designs.
5. Personal items like bags and wallets

ICAR Exam Day Guidelines

In order to guarantee a seamless and equitable test procedure, the ICAR Exam Day Guidelines are crucial for all applicants taking the exam.

• Admit Card: On the exam day, candidates must bring a printout of their to admit card because it serves as their formal identification. Important details like the exam location, date, and time are listed on the admit card.
• Reporting Time: Exam candidates must arrive at the testing location at least 60 minutes before the exam begins. After the exam has begun, latecomers won't be permitted to enter the exam room.
• Personal Items: Candidates are not permitted to bring personal things, including bags, books, notes, mobile phones, and other electronic devices, inside the exam room. Candidate items may be left in a safe storage facility provided by the ICAR.
• Writing Instruments: Candidates should bring their pens, pencils, and erasers. They should also bring a black ballpoint pen for marking the OMR page.
• Dress Code: Candidates should adhere to the ICAR dress code by dressing correctly for the exam. They should wear relaxed, modest attire that won't interfere with the assessment.
• Proper Behaviours: Candidates should conduct themselves respectfully and appropriately at all times while taking the exam. Cheating or disruptive conduct will result in disqualification.
• Exam Regulations: Candidates are required to abide by all exam regulations and directives supplied by the invigilators, including correctly filling out the OMR sheet, finishing the exam in the allotted time, and abstaining from any malpractice.

Documents to be Carried on ICAR Exam Day

The downloaded admit card must be brought with you to the testing location. The candidates will not be allowed to attend the exam without a copy of their admit card. One photocopy of additional ID proof should be brought, along with the admit card. You may bring any of the following identification documents to the exam.

• ID proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
• Admit Card.

• Next, candidates must complete and fill out the application form before appearing for the examination. 
• Moreover, candidates must check the previous year's ICAR cutoff to understand past trends better.
