The DU grading system 2025 and Delhi University (DU) passing marks have undergone several changes. As per the new changes, Delhi University (DU) uses the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with a 10-point grading scale. Instead of traditional percentages, you are awarded grades from O (Outstanding) to F (Fail) based on performance in both internal assessments and end-semester exams.

The varsity’s latest amendment states that they will follow the CBCS grading system of DU instead of percentage. The DU grading system 2025 will translate the percentage secured by you in the exams into a grade point system.

To convert CGPA to a percentage, DU uses the formula:
Percentage = CGPA × 9.5
