What is JoSAA Cutoff?
The JoSAA cutoff is the opening and closing ranks released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for admission to various engineering and architecture courses at IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs in India through the JEE exam (Mains and Advanced). These opening and closing ranks are the minimum and maximum ranks to be achieved by the candidates for admission to their desired institute and course.
The JoSAA cutoff is released during the JoSAA counselling, across several rounds for various categories, courses, home state and all-India quota candidates. Moreover, it may vary for different rounds depending on the following:
