The Gujarat NEET merit list 2025 is released by the Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) on its official website. The merit list contains details like the candidate's name, institute name, category details, and course details. It is released after the declaration of NEET result 2025. The round 1 merit list was released on Jul 30, 2025.

Candidates who qualify for the NEET cutoff 2025, with 50 percentile for the general category and 40 percentile for the reserved category, will make it to the Gujarat MBBS/BDS 2025 rank list and can apply for state counselling.

• Step 3: Candidates need to search their names and NEET roll number in Gujarat MBBS 2025 merit list.

Gujarat NEET Tie-Breaking Process 2025

Sometimes, two or more candidates achieve the same results and make up a tie. To resolve this confusion NEET has a tie-breaking process. This process comprises some rules that students must be aware of if they land in such scenarios. Here’s what all they need to keep in mind:

• Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants who secure higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for the NEET merit list.
• Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie remains then the most preferred and accepted subject is chemistry, the scores/percentile of this subject will be considered to break the tie.
• Several incorrect answers: If the tie remains, the candidate with fewer incorrect answers will get selected for the merit list.
• If the tie persists, the candidates holding higher marks in English in the qualifying exam will be given a better rank for Gujarat MBBS admission 2025.
• After that, candidates with higher aggregate marks in class 10 will be allotted a higher rank in the state merit list.
• In the end, the older candidate will retain a higher merit position.

Gujarat MBBS 2025 Counselling

The authority will conduct the Gujarat MBBS/BDS counselling 2025 in online mode lasting for two rounds. Before the seat allotment, aspirants have to provide their preference for the college as well as their preferred course.
