Eligibility criteria depends upon the course in which candidate wants to admit. For most of the courses its on merit basis except for B.M.S in which a candidate need to go through two process i.e. entrance and group discussion. I gave entrance for B.M.S and let me tell you its level is quite high. Latest cutoff this year for English honours is 92%.
The cut off is very high for English hon. at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, Delhi University. You need good marks in best four subjects in the 12th board exam to get admission. English Hons admissions are merit based.you need to give entrance exam only MA for English Hons. And The highest cutting for general category is basically 95%.
The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for the course are so easy to see your marks that under cut-off then you got admission. There is no entrance exam taking under my admission. Cutoffs around 97-1st cutoffs then decrease cut-off to 88%. Best of admission.

The first cutoff was - 97.25%, 84%, 80%, and 79% for General, SC, ST, and PwD respectively.
There is no entrance examination in DU you have to fill a form which is released in may and you will be given college according to your score in the board examination here cutoff was about 87 for general and 83 for OBC and 79 for SC and 75 for ST.
To get admission in this college students needs to write entrance exam and must have pass 12th boards with good marks. Admissions to this course are merit-based. Cut off is around 90-92% for general category.
