Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, [NMIT] Bangalore spread over 23 acres. This institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University - [VTU], Belgaum and approved by NAAC, UGC, AICTE, NBA.

NMIT Campus Highlights

NMIT is acknowledged for its campus and residential facilities. Some of the highlighting features of the NMIT campus are listed below.

• NMIT organises different types of seminars, counselling seasons, conferences for the betterment of students.

NMIT Campus Facilities

The NMIT has a wide range of facilities provided to students. Some of these are mentioned below:

Classrooms: Well organised and furnished classrooms, as well as digital boards, are installed in every class to make sure a student must have a  better learning experience.

Library: The library & information centre has a comprehensive collection of books, periodicals, audio/video cd-rooms, e-resources in engineering, basic sciences, management and general subjects to cater for the needs of faculty members, research scholars, staff, and students. Every department has its own Departmental Library. It also housed a digital library which has 40 computers with an internet facility. The Library has a collection of 48,600 books in various disciplines, 130 print journals, and several online subscribed journals.

Hostel: NMIT provides in-campus hostels for both boys and girls. Twin sharing rooms are available for 1st-year students. Second-year onwards boys may opt for twin sharing or four sharing rooms. The hostel has amenities such as TV rooms, a reading room, 24 hours medical emergency service van, co-operative stationary stores and many more.
