Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering, [MITE] Moodbidri was established in the year 2007 by Rajesh Chowta under Rajalaxmi Education Trust with an area of 70 acres. The college is situated in Moodbidri, Mangalore, Karnataka. The objective of the institution is to promote research-oriented advanced courses in the field of engineering studies. It is approved by AICTE & is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University [VTU].
