Alva's College, Moodbidri was established in 1998. Alva's College is affiliated to Mangalore University. The College is approved by the University Grants Commission [UGC] and Accredited with an 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC]. Alva's College is famous for its integration of sports and cultural activities with academics. Education at the degree level provides a great platform for self-realization and shapes them into talents.

Alva's College makes every individual capable of shouldering responsibilities both at the individual and social levels. Alva's College provides one hundred per cent placement opportunities for all eligible students and encourages scientific as well as research development. 30+ certificate courses are offered to supplement professional development.

Alva's College has been bagging the highest number of ranks in Mangalore University examinations and retained the championship of cultural activities and sports for 10 years.
