Telangana Btech admission 2023 is based on the results of the TS EAMCET 2023 or the JEE Main state-level entrance examination. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) manages Telangana Btech Admissions on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).

TSCHE announced the TS EAMCET 2023 exam dates. The TS-EAMCET 2023 exam is from May 7 to May 11, 2023 for Telangana Btech admission 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Btech Admission 2023

For those interested in pursuing a Btech degree, admission requirements include necessary academic requirements, minimum graduation grades, age restrictions, nationality requirements, and entrance exam scores. The following conditions must be satisfied to be admitted to a Btech program in Telangana:

The candidate must be an Indian national and a native of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
As of December 31 of the entrance year, candidates must be at least 16. No upper age limit.
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 curriculum with at least 45% of the required marks and must have taken Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as required subjects.
Students moving from other states may apply if they did so after June 2, 2014, at which point they will be regarded as residents. Such candidates must comply with the admissions committee's guidelines and provide the required documents.
The candidate must also meet the merit standards set by the preferred colleges of their choice.
There is a 10% relaxation for the SC/ST group.

Entrance Exam for Btech in Telangana

The candidate's performance on the entrance exam will be considered for granting admission. Different entrance exams will be required to be admitted to undergraduate and graduate engineering programmes.

The entrance exam for the Btech programme will be either the state-level TS EAMCET 2023 or the national JEE Main 2023.
JEE Advanced qualification is necessary for applicants seeking admission to IITs. Individuals might take various entrance tests to apply for admission to B.Tech programmes.
The GATE 2023 (national level) entrance exam or the TS PGECET 2023 (state level) entrance exam will be used for providing admission to the M.Tech programme.
Candidates may also take the BITS Hyderabad BITSAT 2023 entrance exam to be considered for admission.

Counselling Procedure for Telangana Colleges for Btech

Candidates who clear the TS EAMCET exam are eligible to participate in counselling. There are various stages to the counselling process. The individual is given a college and stream after finishing the counselling process.

The first step for candidates is to pay the counselling fees online. The counselling fee is Rs.1200 for the general category and Rs. 600 for SC/ST applicants.
The process of document verification will proceed after payments have been successfully paid. Candidates will receive a login ID and password for future changes and to upload documents.
Candidates must present their documentation and attend the closest designated verification centre. Candidates must have their scorecard on them at all times during the process.
A letter of acknowledgement will be given to candidates after their documents have been examined.
