The placement record of CU is no secret. The University has a Limca Book of World Records for a maximum number of Companies visiting any campus for recruitments in a year. Over 500+ companies have recruited students from CU during campus placements. CU was also one of the sites for Mega Job Mela organized in conjunction with Punjab Government.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The campus is very clean, modern design and well- maintained. Sanitation and upkeep of the campus are some of the things that make CU campus sprawling place and a favorite among students. Green and well-kempt parks are a great place to hang out. A huge choice of food outlets serving mouth-watering cuisine for all palates is another plus.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For admission in B.Tech, the eligibility is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Biology with at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Chandigarh University organizes CUCET every year. CUCET is the scholarship test organized by the university. Students can get a 100% scholarship in it.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission, you have to give CUCET exam for different fields, and if you get good marks, you can also avail of a scholarship. Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% of marks and having atleast participated in the Inter College, Inter-Zonal, district, or school competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU, IOA, SGFI, Govt. of India.
