Placements and Internships
- Having a campus in such a great location plus the brand value of the university does attract ample students to apply for and finally getting the cream out of it on the campus makes companies visit the campus. So overall placement chances are good here.
- During my course, there is one industrial training program, and our institute has MOUs signed with top-class MNCs which give exposure to us.
- And now I am working as a senior analyst with a good salary package.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There is a library in each block along with one central library in the main block.
- The infrastructure of our college is quite good.
- In the hostel and library, Wi-Fi facility is available.
- The hostels are quite good with good mess food.
- I will suggest you take LC hostels since they are much spacious than other hostels.
- There are no restrictions for boys, but girls need to enter their hostel gates before 7 pm.
- There is a free ambulance facility 24x7.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The eligibility criterion was 10+2 in Biology or Maths with at least 50% marks.
- And to take admission in any UG/PG programs candidates need to clear CUCET, which is a university-level exam conducted only in the online mode.
- I gave the CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test). This university- level entrance exam also provides 100% scholarship to the students who score 95% marks.
- During my admission time, the cut off was 85%.
Academics and Faculty
- This institute uses both modern as well as traditional methods of teaching because this is totally a student-friendly institute.
- The benefit of joining this university is that they provide syllabus as per PCI with some additional courses like personality development, Human Values, Ethics, and so on which helps students to gain confidence while facing an interview.
- Overall experience in such instate was marvelous, I learned a lot from CU it’s about academics, personal, and professional.
