Academics & Faculty : Daily routine at Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Delhi is that classes start at 9 am in the morning and ends at 5 pm in the evening. The quality of professors is good but their method is slightly complex. Overall experience is that one can choose their path either in a good or a bad way and no one questions them.

Academics & Faculty : The academics at IIT Delhi are excellent to say the least. The sole problem of engineering education in India is the lack of properly equipped labs, which results in the lack of practical knowledge and abundance of theoretical knowledge. This problem is somewhat encountered by IIT Delhi. There are well equipped labs dealing with different areas of all engineering branches. Not only engineering, basic sciences labs like physics and chemistry are no different. Another standout feature is the flexibility in curriculum. The courses that we have to do are not fixed, and we can choose from a variety of courses according to our interests.
