Companies generally have 3 step process firstly written or online coding test, next would be a GD and finally the interview rounds. Based on the salary they are divided into 3 tiers.
Hostel facility is present for both boys and girls. There is also bus facility for staff and students based on the yearly fee. Food is ok. Class rooms and labs are spacious, the library has many useful books.
PESIT offers 5 courses for BTech, courses are Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil and Bio-Technology. It ranked 3rd among the Engineering Colleges of Karnataka. They provide placement opportunity with good companies with different profiles.
Classes are an hour each with 6 classes per day and only Sunday off. Teachers are good and helpful clearing any doubts. The college has a good staff and atmosphere. Overall useful and enjoyable experience.
The fee is less than INR 50,000 for one year. The scholarship is provided to merit students and based on students above a certain score.
There are technical, not non-technical societies on and off campus. There is an inter-college and inter-department fest every year. There are many tech competitions.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission to PESIT-BSC used to happen through the COMED-K examinations. Just like every other engineering examination, COMED-K ranks were declared and students were called for college selection process in Karnataka. PESIT-BSC used to be one of the colleges that took students based on their COMED-K rankings. Recently, from 2018, PESIT-BSC was rechristened as PESU-ECC (Electronic City Campus) after it was inducted under PESU-Banshankari.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : CET and COMEDK are the entrance exams used for admission. I joined through COMEDK. In 2013, the cutoff for CSE was around 5000.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in this college, the candidate must clear the COMEDK UGET/KCET exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. The cutoff rank must be below 7,000.
