Placements and Internships
I interned at Unitherm Inductoweld. It was an unpaid internship! Numerous firms visit the campus every year and offer quite roles in most fields including IT, Manufacturing, First, Marketing, Sales etc. The average salary is around 6-7LPA. The highest salary is around 30LPA. The placement percentages vary depending on the branch of the student. On an average 60-70% of all the students combined get placed.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility criteria were 60% in PCM in 12th boards. The admission procedure was, for the most part, clean and clear, except for the part where the counseling was held less than a week before the JEE Advanced exam, coupled with the fact that we had to travel all the way to the campus for the counseling. I took JEE Mains, Advanced, BITSAT and VITEEE and Manipal entrance examinations. For Electrical and Electronics branch, the cutoff for first category batch was somewhere around 13-15k rank in the VITEEE.
Academics and Faculty
There are on an average 6-7 classes per day for a student spanning 50 minutes each. There are two unit tests of 50 marks each and a final assessment of 100 marks at the end of the semester. The teaching quality and standard are quite decent. If you have a will and desire to learn new things, the college will aid you in every step. It all comes down to the individual really as to how interested is he/she to learn.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is about INR 1.5L PA tuition fees. Incorporating the hostel and mess fee, it shoots up to around INR 2.3 - 2.5L PA. Scholarships are available for students who secure a position in top 10 in the VITEEE exam as far as I know. I don't have much idea about the loan system.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria was paying with more than 60 percentage in the 10+2 board examination. The prescribed entrance exam called VITEEE must be given in order to be eligible for admission. Typically almost 120 can be the cutoff for admission to Electrical Engineering this year.
