The hostel is good it's a 7-floor building and the fee over there is INR 2,500 per month Food if the hostel is good. Classrooms and labs are always clean and the environment of the college is the best.

St Joseph Engineering College is a Religious Minority Institution and admissions are governed as per religious minority institution status, as stated/declared by Government of Karnataka. Selection is based on the merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination and Entrance test marks. Selection and admission will be provisional and is subject to the norms prescribed by AICTE, VTU, and Government of Karnataka. The candidates who meet the qualification are required to appear for entrance test and interview to be conducted at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor Mangalore or any other place specified by the college, the exact date of which will be intimated.

College starts at 9 am and ends at 5 pm normally. There is an interval at 10:50 am to 11:10 am and lunch break is at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Teaching is good. Not all the teachers are good, almost all are good except few. It's good but studies are being given a lot of attention more than anything else so it's hard for us to always be in such environment.

The course fee varies depending on the branch and the year. My fee per year is about INR 1,60,000 (civil branch) and branches like mechanical and computer science fee is about 2,20,000rs (only for people who come through management) Scholarship depends upon the students cast and I get almost INR 45,000 as scholarship per year Almost 75% students get a scholarship in our college.

There are many associations created by different Branches in the college Tiara is the main festival of the college. College is good in studies but you can't enjoy a students life
