College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The condition of college hostel(off campus for 1st year) very poor and the food is of pathetic taste. 28 seats are available for a 1st-year hostel which is off campus. There are many PGs nearby. There is college canteen where food costs on avg rs35. No ac is provided in the classroom, labs are well equipped, the library is very good consisting of wide range of books.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Eligibility criteria: You must qualify WBJEE exam generally held in the month of April/May and based on your rank, you can apply for this college. For Chemical Engineering generally the cutoff is below 9.5K
Academics and Faculty
Academics is very nice here. (Though I didn't find anything nice in 1st year). Attendance is most important(75%min) (which disheartens me the most: prof. are well qualified in their respective field and hold doctorates from prestigious universities which hold international reputation.
Fees and Scholarships
The fee is avg. which is 44k per semester(72k for 1st sem). No scholarship option is available
Clubs and Associations
Rotaract, NSS and various clubs are there where you can participate, college fest is well known in entire Kolkata. College life is avg.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The students can get 65 to 70 percent marks in the board examination. The entrance exam was WB JEE. The cutoff for my branch i.e. 70.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : If you are willing to do your engineering after higher secondary in heritage Institute of Technology, you need to pass WBJEE with a rank around 3000 - 11,000(depends on which stream you want to go with) you can also get admission by clearing JEE MAIN. Online counselling is conducted for admission like others college in West Bengal.
