Placements and Internships
I have done two online internships from IICHE and one offline internship at Haldia Petrochemicals Limited (HPL). Key companies that hire from our college are Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, TCS. Average salary figure is 5 to 6 LPA and highest is 12 LPA.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There is separate girls' hostel and boys' hostel. Hostel fees is Rs.7000 per month. PGs are available outside the college. Fee is Rs.7500 per month. Food in our college is satisfactory. Cost is Rs.80 per meal. Qualities of classrooms, labs and library is satisfactory. Wifi is available in the library.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Passing rank in either West Bengal Joint Entrance examination( WBJEE) or JEE Mains and 60% in class 10 and 12 is important. I took WBJEE.
Academics and Faculty
Class hours start from 9am in the morning and go on till 3pm on average. Projects are done in 4th year. Assignments are given on a regular basis. Quality and method of teaching is good. Overall experience in college is satisfactory.
Fees and Scholarships
Per year course fee is Rs.1,00,000. Scholarship options are available for economically backward students who can fulfil the admission criteria. 10% students can get the scholarship. Loans are needed for some students. They can get it from banks like SBI, Bank of Baroda.
Clubs and Associations
There are Science clubs, Music and Dance clubs, Drama club, News club and Arts club (Pravasana). Annual Cultural Festival and Annual Tech Festivals are organized. IICHE, IEEE, CSI frequently arrange seminars and workshops. Teachers Day and Prothoma is celebrated. Life in college is satisfactory.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The students can get 65 to 70 percent marks in the board examination. The entrance exam was WB JEE. The cutoff for my branch i.e. 70.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : If you are willing to do your engineering after higher secondary in heritage Institute of Technology, you need to pass WBJEE with a rank around 3000 - 11,000(depends on which stream you want to go with) you can also get admission by clearing JEE MAIN. Online counselling is conducted for admission like others college in West Bengal.
