Placements and Internships

Companies start coming from the third year. All major companies like Microsoft, PayPal, Amazon, Flipkart, DESHAW, Intel, etc come for the placements. Companies are divided into three categories, super dream, dream and mass placements. Super dream companies offer more than INR 10 lakh, Dream offer INR 4 to INR 10 lakh per annum. The highest salary last year was around INR 30 lakh per annum.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

One has to pass 12th with PCM for admissions in BTECH courses. The entrance exam is VITEEE which one also has to write. They don't release the cutoffs but if you have scored well you can get the admission.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The typical cutoff was 8.9. I don't know the procedure of admission, because of I am studying under scholarship.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibilty criteria is to pass 12th exam and clear the VITEEE exam with decent rank. I was admitted through Star scheme.
