Placements and Internships
The placements are quite good. Last year, the highest package offered was INR 25 lakh per annum and the average package offered was INR 4 lakh per annum. The placements of the Chennai campus and the Vellore campus are held together at Vellore. Most of the top companies visit the college for the campus selection. If you are not selected for any of the company, there is no need to be disheartened because of more than 100 companies from each stream visit the college every year. Almost all the students got placed this year. They get a minimum package of INR 4 lakh per annum. More than 50% students are getting their dream companies.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
VITEEE is a computer-based test (CBT) which is held in different slots. Candidates need to book their exam slot online on the official website for VIT EEE exam. The duration of VIT EEE entrance exam was of two and a half hours. VITEEE entrance exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions.

The prescribed entrance exam called VITEEE must be given in order to be eligible for admission. Typically almost 120 can be the cutoff for admission to Electrical Engineering this year.
