Placements and Internships
A lot of companies comes for placements....
1. Computer science (CS) & Information Science (IS) branches will be having highest number of companies and placements....With an average salary package of INR 6 LPA. (Highest package went up to INR 24LPA).
2. Electronic & Communication will be having second highest placements with an average salary package of INR 4-5 LPA.
3. Other branches will also be having placements moderately.
4. Main Mass Recruiter:- Average package CTC (INR 3.5 LPA) i. Accenture (250-400). ii. Tata Consultancy Services (200-400).
5. Robert Bosche took about 40-50 persons.
6. Almost all people will get placements.
7. Every year college will be conducting alumni meets.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Number of hostel: 5, Hostel fee: Very high (more than INR 1.2 lakhs per year), Hostel mess: Amazing food will be served PG: PGs are available around the college for about 6000 INR per month.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Entrance Exam: 1. Common Entrance Test (CET) by Karnataka Education Board (KEA) 2. COMEDK 3. Entrance through management quota (Not preferred...as it is too costly)
Cutoff: Every year cutoff varies.... You can check in KEA or COMEDK website
Academics and Faculty
Class timings: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Quality of teaching: Awesome, Experience in college: Amazing experience....can't forget.
Fees and Scholarships
Course fee: 18090 INR per year
Scholarship: Various scholarship will be available for students 1. e-pass 2. MHRD 3. Fund for excellence
Clubs and Associations
Life in BMSCE is all about various clubs .... More than 20 clubs are there in BMSCE...Music....Dance (Eastern & Western) .... Fashion team....NSS.....NCC.....Rotract and many other technical teams too..... Festivals: 1. UTSAV (cultural festival) 2.Phase shift (technical fest) 3. Kreedotsav (sports festival) And many departmental festivals.
