Shruti Satonkar's Review on Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Society for Computer Technology and Research

I have done an internship at Gig India. The companies like Rakuten, Morgan Stanley, Infosys, TCS etc hire our students. The average salary offered was INR 4-5 lakhs per annum and the highest salary offered was INR 33 lakh per annum.

Wi-fi facility is available to all students. There are separate hostels for boys & girls on the Campus. Boy’s & Girl’s Hostel have total 35 and 63 rooms respectively and all rooms are attached with toilets & bathroom and in each room, 2 students are allowed to stay.

A Candidate must clear the MHT CET/JEE MAIN exam and must have passed the 12th/HSC from a recognized institute to get admission in this college. Minimum 145-178 cutoff mark is required. For getting into computer science a minimum of 160 marks is required.

SPPU The academic schedule is fairly regular. There are some internal unit tests apart from the two online and one written test conducted by the University of Pune. Some of the faculty is really good while some others are average.

My course fee at Pune Institute of Computer Technology is INR 40,000 per year. The current college fee is INR 90,000 per annum. There are some avenues for scholarships which are available to toppers every year. There are some scholarships available for need-based candidates also.

PICT has a very active IEEE branch. The Arts circle of the college is very active, participates in a lot of inter-college competitions and provides a good platform for the students to showcase their creative side. There are other clubs also and you can start your own if you are genuinely interested.
