Placements and Internships

  • Few companies come for internships in 6th semester mainly for Mechanical and Electronics students. 
  • Various IT Companies like TCS, WIPRO, HCL visit the campus. 
  • Finace companies like KPMG, etc. also recruit students at the campus. 
  • Average salary is 3.5 lakh and the Highest salary in 2016  was 9 lakhs 
  • 50 % of the students get placed and many of them go for higher studies, hence not everyone sits for placement.
  • Every year alumni reunion takes place. 

Entrance Exams and Admissions

  • Entrance exam to be given is JEE Mains.
  • Admission procedure involves the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) counselling. This is an online counseling that has four rounds.
  • First three are online and the last round is a manual counselling that takes place in Ambala.
  • Each college can have their own spot round depending on the number of seats left. 
  • Any student who has passed 12th standard from a recognized board and has appeared for JEE Mains is eligible for admission.
  • Cutoff depends on the branch you apply for. 

Fees and Scholarships

  •  The course fee is 25500 per semester.
  •  Economically backward students get close to 80% scholarship and their total fee is about 4500.
  •  Various scholarship options are available from different organizations.
  • Close to 5 students from every batch get scholarships.
  • EBW students have 10 % quota of total seats.
  • No loans are needed usually.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for YMCA University of Science and Technology was appearing in IITJEE (mains). Cutoffs for admission in various courses starts from 250(approx) marks for general category for CE Branch to 50(approx) marks for SC category for EIC branch.
