I interned with Godrej Properties Ltd where I had got an offer as well. A lot of companies ranging from those in FMCG sectors to banking participate in the summer internship as well as the final placements. They include international offers as well especially from the Middle East. I guess considerable role is played by the alumnus of the campus who share with us their past experiences and help us through our journey.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

Infrastructure at IIMK is excellent with its unique location over the hills surrounded by the natural beauty of greenery. We have auditorium type classroom which facilitates our case-based pedagogy and wi-fi connections in the academic blocks. Library has online access facility which facilitates easy access. There is adequate public transport system (bus& autos) from the campus to the city.

Academics and Faculty

Excellent exposure to various domains and businesses through classroom learning where the pedagogy involves both lectures and case-based discussions! There is adequate grading system where there are marks allocated to different components including class room participation which caters to making the pedagogy a successful one.

Clubs and Associations

There are many student-run committees ( student council, placement committee etc ), interest groups ( for various domains like marketing, finance etc) and clubs ( music, dance, quizzing etc). There are activities going all round the year which makes it all the more fun and everyone can participate according to their interests!

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure is through Common Aptitude Test (CAT). There are weights allocated for previous studies and other professional backgrounds also. Based on all these factors, candidates are called in for interviews. There is usually a GD and an interview. Based on both these, admission to college is offered.

Academics & Faculty : Some courses provided are really good. But as it is a post graduate institute the effort has to be given by the individuals to learn about the topic. A Lot of opportunities lie ahead to groom yourself. Professors are always approachable.
