- The eligibility criteria for this college is 12th pass.
- NIST is one of the best colleges of Odisha. This institute is best known for its ECE and CSE/IT branch. This institute has best VLSI trainer team,0Almost 90 % student get placed every year.You can get into this college by writing JEE MAINS or OJEE.
- I got admission through OJEE .
Fees and Scholarships
- The course fee is around Rs.160000 per year and that's including hostel.
- There is the various scholarship for the student of NIST-like TFW,Economic hardship,book grand,and merit wise scholarships are available.Apart from this scholarship The state government provides scholarships too.

- There are many clubs in the NIST.
- Sankalp is our main festival in our college.
- NIST Campus is also known for its beauty.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria was the same as prescribed by JEE Main guidelines and the admission happened through www.ojee.nic.in(for state college admissions). I had given the JEE MAINS exams and the typical cutoff was around 25 out of 360.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admitted in this college based on my JEE Mains marks (which was 102). I wanted to get into ECE branch without any kind of hassle. The criteria were like in order get into CSE branch you should have at least qualified in JEE Mains.
