College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are 20 hostels. Hostel fees +mess fees combined is around Rs 18,150 per semester. All the other needs are well established.
Academics and Faculty
- College starts at 8.00AM in the morning and ends at 5.45PM in the evening. For every month we will be having quizzes for each course.In the last month of the semester there will be end sem exams. Assignments are given weekly. Many opportunities to do projects.
- Quality and method of teaching are good.
- Interactive and exiciting.
Fees and Scholarships
- My course fee is Rs 50,000 per semester
- Many scholarships are there.
- About 80% of the students who applied are eligible to get scholarship.
- No loans are needed.
Clubs and Associations
- There are many clubs in the campus.
- SAARANG and SHAASTRA are the main festivals.
- College life is Awesome.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To take the B.Tech in Mechanical at IIT Chennai, one must clear the JEE MAIN entrance examination and score good marks.
Academics & Faculty : Classes generally begin at 8 AM and end at 5.45 PM. However, there are quite a few free slots during the day which can be effectively utilized for studying. Assignments and projects depend on the subject and professors. For some courses regular submission of assignments is necessary and it caries marks. However, for some other subjects, tutorials are uploaded on Moodle which students are expected to solve. For every major subject, there is a tutorial class every week where students can get their doubts clarified by the TAs. The examination format is 2 quizzes and one end semester exams for some subjects, where as it is one mid term plus one end sem exam for some others. The faculty here are very good, knowledgeable and approachable. Most profs are student friendly. The experience here is just fantabulous. The sports facilities are outstanding and the number and variety of different clubs here are simply amazing.
