Placements and Internships
- The internship is much important for an MBA graduate and prominent companies like PHILIPS, IDEA cellular, Barakath, TCS,etc comes for recruiting for summer placements since ASB has a strong ALUMNI strength spread across the world in all famous Corporates and industries.
- The final job offers are also good and the highest placement package offered here is 13.8 LPA and the average comes around 5-6 LPA.
- The key companies that hire us are TCS(BPS), TCS(IT), Kemji Ramadas, PHILIPS INDIA,IDEA Cellular, Godrej, Berger Paints, Preethi Appliances, ZOHO corporations, L&T, Robert Bosch, Barakath, etc.
- There is 97% placement of the batch 2013-15 got placed.
- Alumni network is the backbone of ASB,Coimbatore. They are widely present across the world and provides the strong support for us.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostels are good and decent with single accommodations for MBA graduates.
- There are no PGs and students are requested to take residential here inside the campus for MBA program.
- The food inside is pretty much ok but nonveg is not provided inside the campus.
- The quality of classrooms are good , LABS are also good and the campus and hostels are provided with WiFi facility with access to YouTube and Facebook.
- The infrastructure makes the college campus a wonderful one.
Academics and Faculty
- The Classes starts from 8.55 a.m with the prayer song and ends by 1.05 p.m.
- Three subjects per day, each class lasts 1.15 hours maximum.
- The tests are conducted once per two weeks or once per week in the form of a QUIZ and in a strict manner.
- The assignments are continuously given which enhances our knowledge with current updates in business fields
- The quality and method of teaching are too good and it is done by the form of CASE DISCUSSIONS which enhances to understand the real life scenarios and a solution to the same.
Fees and Scholarships
- The annual fee structure for MBA program is INR 5,30,000 per annum.
- The scholarship is also available in the form of reduction of course fee according to the entrance exam marks and past academic profiles of the students.
- The average number of students who gets the scholarship is around 40-50 out of 128 students.
- The loans are much needed and it is easily available in Dhanalaxmi Bank which is already situated inside the college campus.
Clubs and Associations
- There are PlaceCom which takes care of internships and placements, FestCom for Festival celebrations and Colloquia team for arranging wonderful Guest lectures done by eminent persons across the globe and locality and all clubs are 100% run by student communities.
- The main festivals are Pragati, Kalakriti which are the biggest B-Fests and Golulashtami, Diwali is much more celebrated with fun in a grand manner.
- The college life is hectic and too much engaged with works as we are MBA graduates.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : CAT Minimum 70 percentile Completed a UG Course in any of the stream in Amrita School of Business. The admission here will be more profile page . So it doesn't matter how much ever percentile you have ,your attitude equally matters to get a admission

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are to have a good score in CAT/GRE/XAT/MAT entrance examinations. A typical cutoff above 75 in increasing order for the exams mentioned to get into ASB.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : CAT entrance examination is the eligibility criteria required to get into ASB. I had scored 62%, 55% was the last year typical cutoff.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria include a valid score in any entrance examinations. The admission procedure includes an interview. The typical cutoff 60 percentile in CAT. I had appeared for CAT and XAT entrance examination.
