CDAC C-CAT Counselling 2024 Important Dates

How to Check the CDAC C-CAT Seat Allocation 2024 

Candidates appearing for the counselling round should read the instructions given below to check the CDAC C-CAT seat allocation. 

• Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of CDAC C-CAT 
• Step 2: They must provide the required credentials such as form number and password.
• Step 3: They can choose the choice filling option.
• Step 4: Save the filled options.

CDAC C-CAT Counselling Procedure 2024

After the result declaration, the admission authority will begin the C-CAT counselling round. Candidates appearing for the counselling round can refer to the below-mentioned procedure. 

• Step 1: Online Course and Centres selection for 1st round of counselling - Candidates have to use their form number and password to log on to the C-DAC website and select their preferred courses and centres. Candidates can add or remove preferences, as well as adjust the order of their preferences. It should be noted that the last-saved course-centre preferences will be regarded as final, and a candidate can not choose a lower preferred choice if a higher preferred choice was assigned to them in any round of seat allocation.
• Step 2: Declaration of First Round of Seat Allocation - By logging in to the C-DAC website, candidates can check the course/centre that assigned to them. The authorities will also send an email to all of the candidates who have been assigned a seat. This seat allocation will be based on the candidates' CDAC C-CAT 2024 rankings as well as their preferences. Candidates who have been assigned seats must also pay the first instalment fee of INR 10,000 + GST in order to confirm their seats. Candidates who were given seats in the first round but did not pay the first instalment will not be considered for the CDAC C-CAT seat allocation in the second round.
• Step 3: Declaration of Second Round of Seat Allocation - Candidates who have already filled out their preferences for centres/courses but were not offered seats in the first round of seat allocation, as well as those who were offered seats in the first round but did not receive their top choices, will be considered for the CDAC C-CAT 2024 seat allocation in the second round. Candidates who are offered seats in this round must pay the first instalment in full via the internet. Those who have paid the fee in the first round will not be required to pay again.
• Step 4: Online Course and Centres selection for 2nd counselling session - CDAC's second counselling session will be done only for the vacant seats at C-training DAC's centres. Candidates must log in to the official website to determine their second counselling eligibility based on their center/C-CAT course's cut-off rank. Only the courses/centres that are rank-wise eligible for the candidate will be displayed in the list. Candidates must submit a caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 + GST in order to participate in the second round of counselling. Candidates must select their desired options from the provided list after successful payment.
• Step 5: Third Round of CDAC C-CAT Seat Allotment - The third seat allocation result will be posted on the CDAC website. Candidates who do not receive seats in the third round will receive a full refund of their caution deposit of INR 10,000.
• Step 6: Payment of Balance Course Fee - Candidates who have paid the first instalment and have confirmed their seats must pay the remaining course fee through NEFT. The remaining balance for e-DAC and e-DMC is INR 40,000 + GST, INR 50,000 + GST for e-DBDA and INR 70,000+ GST for e-DAI.
• Step 7: Registration at Allocated CDAC Training Centres - The selected candidates are enrolled as CDAC students at the respective training locations after paying the fee and verifying their course eligibility. During registration, candidates must fill out and submit online course registration forms. They must also upload passport-size colour photographs and photocopies of their university's qualifying degree certificate or provisional/passing certificate.
• Step 8: Cancellation or refund - The first payment fee will not be returned to candidates who are found ineligible for the allotted seat. Candidates who seek to cancel their seats must complete an online withdrawal form on the official website. Candidates must print the withdrawal form, sign it, scan it, and email it to actssupport@cdac.in after submitting the form online. The subject line of the email should read: "Request for removal from Online Diploma admission."

Who Can Participate in the Second Round of the CDAC C-CAT Counselling Process?

Only the following candidates will be eligible to appear for the second round of the CDAC C-CAT counselling process. 

• Candidates who did not participate in the first counselling.
• Candidates who were not allocated seats in the first counselling
• Candidates who were allocated seats in the first counselling, but have not paid the first instalment course fee.
• Candidates who were allocated seats in the first counselling and have paid the first instalment fee, but subsequently withdrawn their admissions.

CDAC C-CAT Counselling and Seat Allotment 2024 - Important Points

• The counselling process is divided into two counselling sessions and three rounds of seat allotment. 
• During the counselling round, the selected candidates will have to choose the course and centres. 
• Based on the first round of counselling, seat allotment will be done for the first and second rounds. 
• Based on the second round of counselling, seat allotment for the third round will be conducted.
