The best area of Zakir husain is its Library, a fully computerised library with all facilities. Campuses do avail wi-fi facilities and many more. You'll be getting subsidised food from its college canteen. We do have GCR and BCR as well.
The thing which one needs to ponder about a college before getting enrolled into it is its academics. The staff is pretty good and well supportive. They'll be helping you in every situation. Class timings are also good. Teachers here put in full effort to teach the students. All i say is, in terms of academics it's bindasss!!

The only criteria to get enrolled for Honors in Economics is to come under a range of cut-offs. For Zakir husain delhi college the first cut-off begins approx from 96-97%. It isn't that messy a procedure to take admission here, it's pretty easy though.
On merit base of the intermediate result, up to 75+ % will take admission, other colleges may have different cutoff

I don't think that hostels are available for students as of now. However, it may be availed in the newly constructed building. A number of PG are available in Vishwavidyalaya Area. Food in college is something we never missed on because of a large variety in eatables. A person gets a tummy full in a range of less than 50/- INR. The ambiance of the library is nice. Well equipped IT Lab and practical labs for science are available for students. Class room infrastructure which really required update is now being done.
Class timings are 08:40 AM to around 05:00 in the evening. Assignments and tests are conducted on a regular basis to check the progress and learning of the students. My experience in college was quite satisfying.

Admission eligibility for different courses depends upon the cut-off for any particular course. Best 4 are considered including a language, the main subject along with two others required for the same discipline. I got admission on the basis of merit scores in Higher Secondary. Cut off has increased significantly from 79 to 91 in the five years. The variety of society in the college ensures that no student is left behind in the best of his/her interests. It has NSS, NCC, dramatics and an infinite number of societies. The teachers are there for you even in your crucial times if you have not given some serious issue to ponder over before any assistance. Society is active but due to lack of support of the administration, students face a lot of problems. Academic events are given more importance and other cultural events are neglected.
There is no hostel available for students. Even there is no pg facility nearby the campus. The nearest place where one can find pg is Laxmi Nagar and Karol Bagh. Other infrastructure facilities are okayish.

The eligibility criteria is that you should've passed 10+2 in all subjects with minimum 50% of marks from respective boards. No entrance test required, admissions are executed only based on merit. Typical cuttof range varies from 90 to 98%.

The college releases cutoffs for every course, if you're able to meet the cutoff you can get an admission I didn't take any entrance exam. The first cut off for general category was 96.5% which further came down to 90%
The students are selected for admission on the basis of their 12th Board marks. There would be no entrance exam for the admission. The cutoff for general category students is quite high.
There are student societies and almost all the festivals are celebrated here. College life is just full of fun.
